Up up and away
Yesterday the sun rose and set in less than 8 hours; tomorrow, this will not the case. December 22 is my favorite day of the year because from now onwards, each day will have a few more minutes of sunlight. Somehow, this knowledge makes the following winter months seem more manageable. Today it especially lifts my spirits because we’ve had two solid weeks of -30 C. Well hello prairie winter, here you are again!
What is one to do in a December deep freeze? Why, wedding preparation and present making, of course! A few more teasers/crowd pleasers to whet your palates until I can post the full details sometime in the future:

P.S. For those who live nearby, look for some cute photos of my fiance and I in the December 30th edition of the Edmonton Journal - the story of our upcoming New Years Eve wedding (occurring 3 years to the date of when we first met) won a NYE memory contest.
