So you think you can mosaic?

During the month of May, my work hosts a variety of professional and personal development sessions. I volunteered to do a 3-hour session on how to make paper mosaics. It went wonderfully and I have already been asked by several people if I will be holding it again next year. It was fascinating to see the different approaches people used - all were beautiful, none were similar. Here’s a peek at my minions, hard at work: (faces have been blurred for privacy)

In other news, I have just come out from the fog of a horrendous virus. 48 hours ago I wasn’t sure if I was going to make it! This afternoon my beloved and I will make a 1.5 hour trek south where tomorrow we are meant to run a half marathon (21 km). I’ve been so sick that I don’t know if I will be able to do it; a frustrating thought as 5 months of hard training have preceded this date. We’ll just have wait and see how I feel tomorrow morning.
